About this course:
Golfclub Oberfranken features an 18-hole course set in a natural landscape with old trees and traditional design. The course follows the rolling Franconian hills, offering a mix of flat and gently hilly holes. Elevation changes create varied play, with holes demanding precision due to wind and tee/landing zones near woods and out of bounds. It includes par 3, 4, and 5 holes, notably hole 9, a Signature Hole with a small water hazard. Founded in 1965, it expanded from a 9-hole course designed by Dr. Bernhard von Limburger in 1968 to 18 holes completed in 1985 by Donald Harradine. The clubhouse with dining is near the course, a pleasant spot to relax after play.
