About this course:
Leeuwarder Golfbaan is an 18-hole, par-72 course designed by golf architect Gerard Jol, set in the green surroundings of De Groene Ster. At 6,188 metres, it offers a varied round for golfers of different levels, with water hazards such as ditches and ponds playing a key role throughout the layout. The design calls for smart course management and accurate club selection, while still feeling fresh and engaging from one hole to the next.
The practice facilities are extensive, with a partly covered driving range, a practice bunker, and dedicated pitching, chipping and putting greens. There is also a 5-hole par-3 practice course, making the club well suited to warm-ups and focused practice sessions. After the round, the clubhouse, restaurant and terrace provide a comfortable place to relax with views over the course.
