Via Bött 2, 6983 Magliaso, CH
Golf Club Lugano is an 18-hole, par 70 course, 5623m long, set in a beautiful pre-Alpine landscape by the Magliasina river. The course winds along water on mostly flat terrain, surrounded by forests of birch, oak, pine, and beech. Rhododendrons, oleanders, and azaleas along fairways add color and character, offering a varied experience for newcomers and experienced golfers alike. Founded in 1923, originally a 9-hole course by Percy Dell, expanded to 18 holes in 1970 by Donald Harradine. Later improvements by Cabell B. Robinson and a new masterplan by Peter Harradine shaped the course's character. Facilities include a driving range, Lugano Golf Academy, restaurant, and pro shop.
