About this course:
The King’s Course at Gleneagles is a classic Scottish parkland course designed by James Braid and opened in 1919. Its 18 holes reward thoughtful shot-making, with memorable Scots hole names such as “Dun Whinny” and “Whaup’s Nest” adding to the course’s sense of character and tradition. At 6,471 yards from the white tees, it offers a varied routing with distinctive challenges, including the pronounced dogleg at “Kittle Kink” and the narrowest fairway at “Warslin’ Lea”.
The golfing experience is complemented by an elite practice facility, a nine-hole par-3 course and a golf academy. A clubhouse with locker rooms, bag storage and a sauna, plus two halfway houses, helps create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere around the round.
