Geneva Country Club is a private 9-hole golf course north of Seneca Lake. The 6,014-yard course (5,371 for women) demands precision and thoughtful play with narrow fairways and varied terrain. Hills, uphill, downhill, and sidehill lies make each round challenging, while the rolling, well-maintained greens ensure a smooth and fair finish. Many holes offer wide lake views, adding character to the course. Founded March 11, 1890, the clubhouse was built on the shore in 1899, renewed in 1914, and later renovated and expanded, including the lakeside Gold Room. Geneva Country Club combines golf, tradition, and a peaceful atmosphere in the Finger Lakes.
