About this course:
Golfbaan Groendael is a 9-hole course with par 35, designed by Bruno Steensels. Set between Wassenaar and The Hague, it has a near-urban feel while still being surrounded by nature and dune landscape. Water features, marram grass and bunkers shape much of the playing strategy, so smart course management is essential. With quick greens running at stimp 10 to 12, plus changes in elevation and narrow entries on some holes, the layout asks for precision throughout the round.
Beyond the course, Groendael offers a welcoming clubhouse with a restaurant, bar and lounge, and a veranda overlooking the 1st tee and 9th green. Practice facilities include a driving range with covered teeing over water and floating balls, while the club also provides a luxury changing area with sauna and Turkish steam bath.
