About this course:
Gairloch Golf Club is a 9-hole links course in Ross-shire, right on the Scottish sandy coast. From the course, you can see the Minch and the islands of Skye, Harris, and Lewis, while to the south the Torridon mountains and to the east the rugged landscape of Letterewe form the backdrop. The course has a distinct links character and offers a tough challenge for low-handicap players, yet remains accessible for golfers who want to play relaxed.
The club was founded in 1898 and has since held a firm place in the region's golf life. Throughout the year, competitive days and open tournaments are scheduled, including the Gairloch Senior Open (Harry Davis Memorial) and the Gairloch Gents Open (Stevie McIntosh Memorial). After the round, the Links Café is a pleasant spot to overlook the course, the beach, and Loch Gairloch.
