Is this suggested description update correct: Fox Den Country Club is an 18-hole course, designed and built in 1969 by Willard Byrd, with the Smoky Mountains as an impressive backdrop. The parkland layout combines rolling fairways with wooded areas and multiple water features and bunkers protecting the large greens. The course includes 8 water features and 52 strategically placed bunkers, while each hole offers multiple tees for different skill levels. Notable is hole 18, a par 5 requiring three precise shots to a green complex, with a pond on the right and a bunker on the left. The two sets of nine holes are laid out out-and-back, with both hole 9 and 18 returning to the clubhouse. Fox Den also features a driving range, practice facilities, a teaching facility with Trackman, a pro shop, and locker rooms. Tournaments and club competitions, such as the Ladies’ Club Championship and President’s Cup, are part of club life.?
