About this course:
European Golf Club Elmpter Wald e.V. is on a former military airfield in Elmpt, offering an 18-hole course in varied park and heathland over 76 hectares. Established in 1954 by the Royal Air Force for military sports, it has been carefully developed since. The sandy soil allows year-round golf. The quiet location away from traffic noise provides a natural, relaxed atmosphere. Golfers can practice on the driving range and play comfortably with e-carts. Besides recreational golf, there is an active club culture with regular club and competitive events like the Oaks Trophy and various AK50 league matches.
