About this course:

Dunbar Golf Club offers classic links golf on Scotland's Golf Coast in East Lothian. Founded in 1856, the course lies on a narrow strip of linksland between the old red sandstone wall of the deer park and the rugged rocky coast. Dunbar East Links has 18 holes requiring thoughtful club selection and precise shot-making, with the ever-present sea wind constantly influencing play. The course is historically linked to Old Tom Morris, Ben Sayers, and James Braid. Dunbar also has a strong reputation as a tournament venue: it served as a final qualifying course for The Open and hosted various national and international tournaments. In 1968, it hosted the first PGA Championship on the European Tour.
