Dub's Dread Golf Club is a historic 18-hole course near Kansas City, known since the 1960s as a challenging public course. Originally the longest course worldwide at 8,101 yards, it now plays between about 5,200 and 7,200 yards. Majestic trees line the fairways, with lakes and water features adding excitement to several holes. Large, undulating greens and tough sections make it challenging for various handicaps. Facilities include a full driving range and practice areas. Seasonal local tournaments and scramble events, including a 4th of July Scramble, are held.
