About this course:
Drayton Park Golf Club in Abingdon is an 18-hole Hawtree parkland course opened in 1993, still owned by the McKenna family. The course spans 90 acres with a notably flat character, wide views, and a natural setting rich in wildlife. Large, undulating greens, the Ginge Brook running through the heart, four lakes along fairways, and 55 bunkers around greens and landing zones provide variety and challenge. The game demands precision and tactical insight. Tree-lined fairways, narrower playing strips with short rough, three dogleg par 4s, three par 5s, and six par 3s make each round varied and sometimes tricky. The club also offers a 9-hole par 3 course to refine short game and a floodlit driving range with ample length and target greens for focused practice.
