Dodhead Golf Course in Burntisland, Fife, breathes golf history: played since 1797, with roots back to 1688. The parkland course was shaped by Willie Park Jnr in 1896 and updated by James Braid in 1922, giving it a classic character and clear golf challenge. The course is not long, but wide fairways allow attacking play. The lush grass and links-style greens demand precision and touch.
