East Desert Hills Drive 10550, 85262 Scottsdale, US
Desert Mountain Apache Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 72, 7,211-yard course designed by Jack Nicklaus for traditional golfers. It winds through gentle desert terrain with rolling fairways and large, lush greens that blend naturally into the landscape. Ample recovery areas surround the greens, with no forced carries, but the course demands smart club selection due to length and elevation changes. Apache starts and ends with downhill holes, while winding fairways and subtly sloping putting surfaces keep play tactical. Opened in 1996 as the fourth Jack Nicklaus Signature course at Desert Mountain, the Apache Clubhouse offers a Southwestern atmosphere with adobe-fort and Grand Canyon lodge influences, plus a restaurant and piano bar with live entertainment.
