Desert Highlands Golf Club is a Jack Nicklaus Signature course in the Sonoran Desert, at the foot of Pinnacle Peak. The 18-hole, par-72 layout features a desert design with carefully maintained turf and large natural areas surrounding fairways and greens, creating a dramatic and scenic playing experience. The elevated first tee adds character to the round. The course has a strong historical link to the PGA Skins Games, with the first two editions held here in 1983 and 1984. For short game practice, there is a professionally designed 18-hole putting course by Gary Panks, par 41, with over 60,000 square feet of putting surface.
