About this course:
Derby Golf Club is an 18-hole, 6163-yard parkland course with gentle undulations. Located on low-lying land near the River Trent, it offers a mature setting requiring smart course, shot, and pace management. Though generally flat, it demands focus and thoughtful play. Use the practice green beforehand to get familiar. The club dates back to April 27, 1923, when the municipal course was established for Derby's public space. In the 1970s, Wilmore Road's construction altered the course, reducing the north side and creating space on the west.
