Crichton Golf Club, founded in 1884, is a 9-hole parkland course near Dumfries with tree-lined fairways and varied character. The course plays as a par 69 over 2,976 yards and demands accuracy, featuring elevation changes, narrow fairways, and strategically placed bunkers. The uphill start on hole 1 sets the tone for a round where smart play pays off. The club suits golfers of all ages and levels, offering a pleasant all-around golf experience. Besides the course, there are practice facilities including a practice green, practice net, and chipping area up to about 80 yards. There is also a clubhouse with a restaurant and limited buggy hire available.
