About this course:

Set on the gentle slopes of Blackford Hill beneath the Royal Observatory, Craigmillar Park Golf Club enjoys wide views across Edinburgh Castle, Arthur’s Seat, and toward the coast and Fife. Designed by James Braid, the 18-hole course offers a fair but testing round for golfers of all levels, with holes that vary clearly throughout the layout. The club was founded in 1895, moved to this site in 1907, and was expanded to 18 holes in 1927. The course has a calm, natural feel, with deer regularly seen around the grounds. Craigmillar Park is also known for the Craigmillar Park Open, an annual tournament that awards World Amateur Golf Ranking points and has featured winners such as Sir Nick Faldo in 1976.
