Troy Country Club Road 100, 12180 Troy
Country Club of Troy is a private 18-hole championship golf course in the hills of Rensselaer County, spanning 325 scenic acres. Designed by Walter J. Travis, it offers a challenging round with rolling hills, numerous well-placed bunkers, and undulating greens that are rarely flat. At 6,663 yards, the course provides much variety, with elevation changes adding character: the 10th green and 11th tee sit above the clubhouse, and on clear days, views extend far over the Catskill Mountains. Founded in 1925, the clubhouse designed by Pliny Rogers dates from 1927. The club is also known for its tournaments, hosting multiple editions of the NYS Men’s Amateur Championship and the 2025 Men’s Mid-Amateur during its Centennial year.
