Consett & District Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course founded in 1911 and later redesigned by Harry Vardon. Located in the Derwent Valley on the Durham-Northumberland border, it features broad scenic views. Well-maintained, tree-lined fairways and firm plateau greens offer a classic parkland feel, while bunkers, two-tier greens, and clear out-of-bounds add challenge. From the white tees, it plays up to 6,083 yards, requiring smart course management. Precision and thoughtful choices are key, as straight lines aren't always safest.
