About this course:
Comann Goilf na Hearadh, also known as the Isle of Harris Golf Course, is located on the west coast of Harris near Scarista. This 9-hole links course sits above the beach, with the Sound of Taransay on one side and the Atlantic Ocean in the background, while the hills of Harris form the northern backdrop. The course is known as one of the most scenic short courses and demands precise play despite the limited number of holes due to natural obstacles and its landscape setting. The club was founded in the 1930s, fell into disuse during World War II, and was revived in the 1980s, reopening in 1985. Notable players who have played the course include Nick Faldo and Ronan Rafferty.
