Northwest 88th Avenue 6800, 33321 Tamarac
Colony West Golf Club - Championship Course is an 18-hole, par 71, 7,258-yard course designed by Devlin and VonHagge. It demands strategic play with narrow fairways, deep rough, water hazards, and bunkers protecting small, well-maintained greens. Fast greens challenge scoring and reward careful planning on every shot. Opened in 1971 for the Jackie Gleason Classic, the course was shortened in 1981 after clubhouse construction, altering the layout. A highlight is hole 12: a 452-yard par 4 with a tee shot through a cypress forest to an island green.
