College Fields Golf Club has been active since 2005 in Okemos, near Lansing, in an environment closely connected to campus culture. The course is located next to Michigan State University and Okemos High School, designed with respect for golf history. The design aligns with the minimalist movement from the Golden Age of Golf Course Design, featuring gently rolling fairways that offer a pleasant and walkable playing experience. Besides the golf course, College Fields Golf Club provides space for youth programs through Youth on Course, club competitions, leagues, and outings. The club also has experience hosting tournaments for USGA and the Golf Association of Michigan, as well as events from the Greater Lansing Area Golf Association and the Michigan Women’s Golf Association. Additionally, there are practice facilities to further refine technique.
