About this course:
Club de Golf Barcelona, founded in 1989 as Club de Golf Masia Bach, is set just outside Barcelona and combines a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere with a strong sporting edge. Its centrepiece is the 18-hole Masía Bach course, the first design by José Mª Olazábal, played as a par-72 over 6,271 metres. Created to be both attractive and demanding, it is especially well regarded by low-handicap golfers and professionals.
The club also offers a 9-hole Executive course, a par-31 layout stretching 1,780 metres, which provides a shorter round without losing its technical interest. Extensive practice facilities include a driving range with covered bays and target markers, putting greens near the clubhouse and range, an approach zone, a chipping green, and bunker practice areas. The Masía Bach course has also hosted international competition, including the 2007 Catalonia Ladies Masters on the Ladies European Tour.
