The course began in 1974 with 9 holes, was expanded in 1990 by an additional 9 holes with the help of Hernán Landmann Commentz, and received its full 18-hole layout in 2008. The play runs along centuries-old pellines, coigües, raulíes, and ulmos, giving the round a distinctly natural atmosphere. The location near Osorno is strongly integrated into the landscape, with centenarians and other tree species lining the fairways. In 2005, the course was named Las Bandurrias, referring to the many birds that nest and forage here. The club has grown into a sports club covering about 72 hectares, with a Club House and a park featuring a swimming pool and quincho.?
