Naylors Road, L27 2YB Gateacre, Liverpool
Childwall Golf Club is a parkland course in Northwest England, founded in 1912 and relocated in 1938 to its current site near Gateacre, designed following James Braid's recommendations. The approximately 6600-yard course demands precision off the tee and is pleasant to walk as it is not heavily undulating, though some elevated holes affect ball roll. Featuring a varied layout with four par 3s and four par 5s, Childwall offers a challenging round for golfers of all levels. The clubhouse, with its Art Deco style designed by Alderman Shennan and renovated in November 2018, adds to the club's character. Childwall also has a strong tournament tradition, hosting events like the Lancashire County Championship, Four Counties Junior Tournament, England Golf Northern Boys Championship, and the annual Childwall Trophy.
