Chelmsford Golf Course cover

About this course:

Chelmsford Golf Course is a traditional parkland course in Essex's countryside. The 18-hole course measures 5,892 yards with a par of 68/72. It demands precise shots and smart strategy, with greens featuring slopes and elevation changes requiring careful club and shot placement. Bunkers, trees, hills, and ravines add variety and challenge. Founded in 1893, Chelmsford Golf Club moved from Galleywood to Widford before WWI. James Braid helped design the new 18-hole layout, later redesigned by Harry Colt, resulting in a well-maintained course with distinct club character.
