South Prospect Avenue 1211, 61820 Champaign
Champaign Country Club is a private golf club with a history dating back to 1904. The 18-hole course spans nearly 100 acres, featuring bent grass tees, fairways, and greens, surrounded by mature landscaped trees. With four teeing grounds from 6,424 to 4,997 yards, it accommodates various playing styles, from forward play to challenging lines from the back tees. Reinforced bunkers, water hazards, and a practice green add variety and character. For practice and development, the club offers a practice range doubling as a short game area, a putting green, and an indoor simulator in winter. The club has hosted tournaments including the Women’s Western Junior, Illinois Open, and Illinois Men’s State Amateur.
