Castle Eden Golf Club cover

About this course:

Castle Eden Golf Club is a characterful parkland course designed by Sir Henry Cotton. The 18-hole course measures 6420 yards and is known for its signature par-3 17th hole. Located in Castle Eden Dene, it offers beautiful views towards the Old Castle Eden Brewery and the castle, especially from holes 10 to 13. The club has a rich history: after WWI it began as The Dene Golf Club with six holes, later expanded to nine. During WWII, two holes were lost, temporarily reverting to nine holes. The clubhouse originated from a War Department army hut and offers a warm atmosphere with lounge and bar. Visitors appreciate the professional team, large pro shop, and popular open club competitions.
