About this course:
Carton House Golf Club’s O’Meara Course is a classic parkland layout designed by Mark O’Meara, the 1998 Open Champion and US Masters Champion. This 18-hole, par-73 course stretches to 7,165 yards from the blue championship tees and moves through ancient woodlands and along the River Rye, with golden-water carries and striking views throughout the round.
The course blends challenge with natural beauty, making it a rewarding test for golfers of different abilities. Its standout closing stretch is capped by the 18th hole, which frames the historic Palladian Manor House, a reflective lake and the picturesque Boat House, said to have been custom built for Queen Victoria. The setting also highlights the heritage of the Carton House estate.
