Carter Trace 23475, 70462 Springfield
Carter Plantation is an 18-hole par-72 golf course in South Louisiana, designed by David Toms. The course winds through three distinct landscapes: live oak flats, cypress wetlands, and upland pine forests. With over 7,000 yards in length, four to five tee positions per hole, water on eleven holes, and 86 strategically placed bunkers, Carter Plantation offers a challenging round where precision and course management are key. The course is part of the Louisiana Audubon Golf Trail and the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary for Golf Courses program, focusing on native habitats and conservation. Practice facilities include a double-sided driving range, three practice greens, and practice bunkers, combining a southern, wooded setting with a varied and sporty golf experience.
