Carolina Lakes Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course in a park-like setting between the Catawba River and tall pines, with maples and oaks. Designed by Tim Freeland, the course measures 7,007 yards with a par of 72. Natural streams, multiple ponds, elevation changes, well-placed bunkers, and penalty areas offer a challenging yet fair round, while Bermuda fairways and G2 Bent Grass greens give the course a well-maintained look. With six tees and an extra family/6th tee, Carolina Lakes can also be played as an executive par 55 with 17 par 3s and one par 4. Besides the course, there is an elegant clubhouse for outings and celebrations, the Tavern at the Lakes with a full-service bar, and practice facilities with instruction by Class “A” PGA instructors.
