Callippe Preserve is an 18-hole golf course in Pleasanton, California, designed by Brian Costello of JMP Golf Design Group and opened on November 11, 2005. This par-72 course rewards thoughtful golf and demands smart course management and creative play from tee to green. With five tees and a length ranging from 6,748 to 4,788 yards, Callippe Preserve offers a varied round for a wide range of handicaps. The front nine winds through a valley, while the back nine is higher and accompanied in several places by Happy Valley Creek. Mount Diablo provides an impressive backdrop, and holes 11 through 14 feature sanctuaries for the Callippe Butterfly. Especially notable are the 13th hole, a par 3, and the strategic 18th hole, distinguished by their carefully defended greens and bunkers.
