Brightwood Golf and Country Club in Dartmouth, near Halifax, is an 18-hole Donald Ross course with Willie Park Jr. influences. At 5,554 yards and par 68, it offers a challenging yet accessible round with three tee options per hole. Known for elevation changes and scenic views, it demands precision with uphill holes, blind shots, tricky greens with steep slopes, and strategic hazards on the right side. Established in 1914, it began as nine holes and expanded per Ross's plan. Officially opened by Premier Sir Robert Borden, it hosted the first Men's Nova Scotia Amateur Championship in 1927, securing its place in Nova Scotia golf history.
