About this course:
Bolton Old Links Golf Course is an 18-hole moorland championship course with par 72, designed by Alister MacKenzie. The course features a varied layout with two loops of nine holes, the front nine surrounding the back nine. The open, exposed heathland makes wind a key factor, offering a challenging round with tricky greens requiring thoughtful choices. From the highest point on hole 12, there are wide views over four surrounding counties. The club has a strong competitive reputation as host of the Lancashire PGA Open and the Lancashire Amateur Open Championship in 2023. After the round, there is a clubhouse with bar and catering, an on-course 19th Hole, and practice facilities including an indoor swing studio.
