Birstall Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course, par 70, 6239 yards, north of Leicester. It offers views over the city, Charnwood Forest hills, and Rutland to the east. The course is accessible and walkable, with tree lines and parkland providing challenge. Established in 1901, the club has a friendly, social atmosphere for members and visitors. The clubhouse is a relaxed hub with a patio view. Facilities include a practice area, chip mats, nets, and buggies. Notably, the Great Central Railway with steam locomotives runs beside the clubhouse and first tee.
