Belmont Country Club is an 18-hole championship golf course opened in 1968. Originally designed by Robert B. Harris and later refined by Arthur Hills, it plays as a challenging par-72 over about 7,085 yards. With six tee positions per hole, Belmont offers opportunities for golfers of various levels, while tree-lined fairways, five lakes, and notable water hazards provide much variety. The large greens roll fast, enhancing the precise character of the course. Belmont has a history dating back to Belmont Farm and grew into a country club on flat land transformed into rolling fairways. The course is also known as a regular venue for the U.S. Open Qualifier and carries a story of rebuilding after the major fire in 1980.
