Cantitoe Street 535, 10506 Bedford
Bedford Golf and Tennis Club is a family club with a rich history, starting as Bedford Lawn Tennis Club in 1891. Golf was added in 1896, and the course expanded from nine to 18 holes, redesigned by architect Devereux Emmet and completed in 1928. The current course features narrow, tree-lined fairways and small greens, emphasizing precision and challenging even strong golfers. Over time, renovations by Ken Dye added fairway bunkers, extra length, and an adjusted par five. In the rolling landscape of northern Westchester, the game here has long been about tradition, craftsmanship, and well-maintained playing conditions, with a clear playing strength felt from both the men's back tees and women's red tees.
