About this course:
Bedale Golf Course, opened in 1894, lies in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales on former 18th-century parkland once a deer park. The 18 holes wind through greenery over wide tree-lined fairways, with views of the Wensleydale Hills providing a beautiful backdrop. Water features appear on seven holes, and the prevailing westerly wind adds challenge for golfers aiming to improve their score. The holes offer an attractive mix of risk and reward, with tight landing zones, challenging par-3s and par-4s, and playful elevation changes. Water, bunkers, and deep rough add excitement from tee to green, especially around the Signature Hole Marshes. After the round, the clubhouse is a pleasant place to relax overlooking holes 1 and 18, while an indoor Swing Studio and outdoor practice course provide coaching opportunities at all levels.
