Bay Harbor Golf Club is a 27-hole course by Little Traverse Bay, featuring Lake Michigan's landscape in every round. Arthur Hills designed three distinct 9-hole nines forming two 18-hole courses. Play ranges from high above the shoreline, through wooded areas, to rugged former shale quarry terrain. Wind adds challenge and variety. The Links/Quarry follows the coast, highlighting the quarry setting, while The Preserve evokes golfing in a nature reserve. The atmosphere is resort-like and semi-private, suited for guests and members.
