About this course:

Ballyneety Golf Club is a championship 18-hole course designed by former Ryder Cup player Des Smyth, co-designed with Declan Branigan, and opened in 1994. Set across 183 acres of rolling Irish countryside, it features sand-based greens built to USGA standards and a layout that brings in sweeping views of Limerick, Adare and the Clare Hills. The course offers a varied challenge with a mix of par 3s, par 4s and par 5s, along with water hazards and strategically placed bunkers that keep every round engaging. Ballyneety also stands out for its extensive practice facilities, including 31 TrackMan range bays, additional outdoor bays, two swing studios, and a short game area with a putting green, chipping green and practice bunker. The club’s profile is further strengthened by hosting the 2027 Junior Ryder Cup and being named Great Britain & Ireland Golf Course of the Year 2025 by The Golf Course Awards.
