Peel Lane, Astbury, Congleton, CW12 4RE
Astbury Golf Course is a scenic, challenging parkland course in South Cheshire countryside. The 18 holes feature wide fairways, tree lines, and the historic Macclesfield Canal running subtly through the course. Water hazards appear on seven holes, demanding good course management and short game control. Its walkable nature appeals to golfers seeking a varied, tactical round. The 12th hole is a notable signature par 5 with a long carry over a ravine from the tee. Par 5s on holes 3 and 18 stand out, especially the double dogleg on the closer. After play, a renovated clubhouse, spacious 10-bay, 10-acre practice range, and Pro Shop offer extra comfort. Founded in 1922, the club celebrated its centenary in 2022.
