About this course:
Ashford Manor Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course with a rich history, established in 1898 on land secured for golf. The course measures about 6,400 yards and features tree-lined fairways, well-placed bunkers, and a layout with doglegs and cross bunkers requiring smart choices. From the opening hole, with a fairway cross bunker and deep greenside traps, the tone is set. The greens demand attention with subtle breaks and varied slopes, while some holes require precise approaches or well-placed shots into the wind. The clubhouse remains in the original Ashford Manor House overlooking the course, with two bars and lounges. With its long history and many county competitions, it offers a mature parkland experience for golfers who enjoy strategic play.
