Aldeen Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course with well-maintained greens, tees, and fairways. Water hazards on 12 holes and 43 bunkers give the course a challenging character, where technical play and good course management are important. With 7,131 yards and four sets of tees, the course offers plenty of challenge for golfers who enjoy tournament-level play. The course opened on July 26, 1991, and was designed by Dick Nugent and Associates. As the fifth public course of the Rockford Park District, the goal was to make a country club feel accessible. The island green on hole 8 stands out. Before and after the round, the Practice Centre offers space with a driving range, two short-game zones with sand bunkers, and a 14,000 m² putting green.
