Mallorca is the main base for a Balearic golf trip, with the broadest choice of playing areas and accommodation. Courses are generally reached by road from Palma and the island’s resort zones, while mountain backdrops, farmland and the coast create varied surroundings. Many visitors base themselves near Palma for straightforward access, then add nights elsewhere when they want a slower island-focused itinerary. Menorca offers a smaller-scale alternative, with a quieter pace and landscapes shaped by dry-stone walls and low, rolling terrain. Ibiza has more limited golf infrastructure but can suit visitors combining a round with a stay on the island. Spring and autumn are usually the most comfortable periods for regular play, avoiding the hottest part of summer while retaining long daylight. Summer brings reliably dry conditions, but afternoon heat can affect tee-time planning; winter is milder than much of mainland Europe, though rain and wind are possible. Palma is the principal air gateway, and Ibiza and Menorca also have international connections. A multi-island itinerary requires ferry or domestic flight planning, so confirm transfer times and luggage arrangements before booking consecutive rounds.
