For a short break, Amsterdam provides the widest choice of accommodation, restaurants and onward transport, while coastal towns suit players who prefer a quieter base. Schiphol is the main international arrival point, and driving is generally the simplest way to combine courses in different parts of the province. Tee times are most comfortable from late spring into early autumn, when daylight is long and playing conditions are usually milder. Summer can still be breezy along the coast; autumn brings softer ground and more variable weather. Public transport works well for city stays, but it may not serve every club conveniently, especially on weekends or in the evening.
