About this course:
The Royal Eastbourne Golf Club combines historic charm with two varied courses: the 18-hole Devonshire Course and the 9-hole Hartington Course. The Devonshire Course, named after the Duke of Devonshire, is over a century old and features a beautiful mix of parkland and downland with views over Eastbourne. Its open fairways, narrow doglegs, challenging bunkers, and demanding greens require precise tee shots and sharp putting. The Hartington Course is a challenging 9-hole course with small greens that appeal to both beginners and experienced golfers. It maintains the same high standard, is used by members to refine their game, and hosts the Golf Academy. The club has held the Royal prefix since 1887 and boasts a rich history dating back to the early days of men's and women's golf.
