About this course:
Scarcroft Golf Course is an 18-hole par-71 course in gently rolling parkland near Leeds, Harrogate, and York. Known for varied holes and strategic play: length, fairway camber, and fast, demanding greens require precise shot-making and thoughtful strategy. The 3-color flag system (red, yellow, white) and yardage markers to the green center clarify play. Designed with clubhouse sightlines, holes remain largely as at opening. Rich club history includes first county match circa 1938 and a wartime blackout clubhouse. Modern facilities include changing rooms and a halfway house.
