About this course:

Lochmaben Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course overlooking Kirk Loch. The well-maintained course offers a varied round with strategically placed hazards, rolling greens, and sections where water and rugged banks play a key role. The undulating terrain and sometimes challenging green locations require precise shots and smart course management, with extra challenges on holes featuring elevation changes and tricky lines. Founded in 1926, the original nine holes were designed by James Braid. The round also passes local history traces, with visible remains of fortifications and three archaeological sites within the course. The clubhouse overlooks the final hole, providing a relaxed finish to the round.
