About this course:
Ellesmere Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 70 course that offers a varied and thoughtful challenge from start to finish. The layout begins with a demanding opening par 3 and ends on a tough par 3 at the Pavilion, with fairways shaped by risk-and-reward play throughout. Streams cross several holes, while bunkers, ditches, trees and lateral water add to the test. Holes such as the par 5 with a stream guarding the front call for careful judgment, and the 18th is made especially exacting by out of bounds behind the green, plus steep banking and a stream at the front.
With local heritage dating back to 1913, and 18 holes in play from 1928, Ellesmere combines history with a classic golf experience. The clubhouse overlooks the picturesque 18th green and helps create a welcoming atmosphere for golfers of different ages and abilities.
